If needed, we may contact you for clarification. If approved, you will receive a password-protected referral letter by email. You can then arrange your scan directly with a private hospital, clinic or imaging centre of your choice, with appointment booking and fees managed separately by the provider.

If a referral is issued, you will be informed of the outcome and provided with an imaging referral letter. The letter is not restricted to a single imaging network and may be presented to a private provider of your choice.

You will be asked to answer questions about your symptoms and medical background. It is important to answer honestly including details such as pregnancy status previous surgeries existing medical conditions or implants as this helps ensure the review is safe and appropriate.

No. Updoc does not run imaging clinics or perform scans. We support you digitally by having Partner Doctors review your information and provide referral letters and guidance on what to do next where appropriate.
